I talked to the Journalism Salute podcast about being a Salvadorian reporter
And DC Protest against the Bukele regime on June 1st!
Hey everyone,
I was featured in the Journalism Salute podcast talking about the podcast I host HUMO: Muder and Silence in El Salvador. The podcast also featured my insights on what being a journalism of Salvadoran descent. I get personal and talk about my family background, my time working at Al Jazeera (AJ+) and more with host Mark Simon:

March in DC against the Bukele regime Saturday June 1, 2024
“In Washington, D.C. we’ll be joining the International Day of Condemnation of Bukele’s Illegitimate Presidency on Saturday, June 1, at the Embassy of El Salvador! Join us!
Come June 1, 2024, the Salvadoran people will face a de facto government, headed by the Bukele business clan that intends to entrench itself indefinitely in order to move into the oligarchy.
The recent unconstitutional and fraudulent elections resulted in imposed, illegal, and illegitimate authorities, whom we DO NOT RECOGNIZE.
This entire situation hits impoverished and marginalized communities the hardest through mass disappearances under the State of Exception; political persecution; evictions and land dispossession; the abandonment of teachers and of the agricultural sector; illegal mass firings in the public sector; harassment of healthcare workers; and the defunding of education, particularly of the National University (Universidad de El Salvador, UES);”
